Amanda Ludwick

Amanda is an Independently Licensed Social Worker with 13 years’ experience working in community mental health, school-based settings, children’s services, and private practice. She uses an integrative mix of Solution Focused, CBT, DBT, and ACT modalities to help build client skills and facilitate a growth mindset. She is passionate about providing the emotional support and tools her clients need to overcome barriers and make lasting changes for positive self-development and self image. She is careful to provide a non-judgmental atmosphere and unconditional positive regard to every client because she values the importance of a trusting therapeutic relationship. Amanda treats Child and Adult behavioral and mental health disorders including Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Personality Disorders, Autism and ADHD. She has experience in treating issues due to problems with adjustment and behaviors, life cycle changes, low self-esteem, school problems, blending families, grief, and spirituality.  She has extensive experience in working with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and low functioning Autism. 

Amanda is a graduate of the University of Akron and Case Western Reserve University .Amanda is a single mother of four and 2 of her children are diagnosed with Autism. In her free time, Amanda writes children’s books and articles for local publications.
