Sam Rutchick, EMT-B and firefighter 240, serves the staff and patients of Ascend Health Center as a TMS technician and clinical care manager. Sam earned a Bachelor of Arts from Hiram college and also studied at the Tri-C Fire Training Academy and the Cleveland Clinic EMS Academy. His previous medical experience includes working in the Cleveland Clinic vascular surgery/cardiovascular surgery ICU.

“I’m excited to help patients struggling with chronic pain,” Sam notes about his joining staff with Ascend.

When he’s not saving lives during medical emergencies or rescuing people from fires, Sam enjoys hiking, camping, and learning about astronomy. There’s another unique hobby that sets him apart: “I like watches, like wrist watches,” he reveals. “Yes, it’s an actual hobby.” Rest assured that Sam is the right man to keep things running in a timely manner as he manages the convenient four-minute TMS therapy sessions at Ascend Health Center.
