The combination of TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) treatments and Ketamine Infusions is gaining national attention as a powerful way to alleviate Treatment Resistant Depression. For more information or to schedule an assessment call or text us at 330-754-4844.

Especially for our specialized treatments, we require records from a previous provider, preferably using this fillable PDF referral form. We explain the process in this letter to providers. Insurance may fully cover Spravato™ and TMS if at least 2 antidepressants have failed (dx F33.2), but not ketamine. For assistance, walk-ins are welcome Tuesdays 12-1 to discuss treatment options or fill out paperwork.

Patients with active mania or seizures and those with neurovascular compromise won’t qualify for TMS, ketamine, or Spravato.™

Along with the patient’s last medical note, referrals can be emailed to newpatients (@ascendhealthcenter) or faxed to (833) 974-2062. The goal is to utilize the best local resources and avoid the “dead end” patients describe of having to start over each time they try a different approach. We work well with outside providers to leverage our expertise and can provide additional interventions (such as vitamin infusions or SPG blocks) for their patients at their request. We strive to build strong relationships with local medical and therapy practices so that patients receive the collaborative care they deserve.

Take Charge of Your Mental Health

Dr. McElrath from Monarch Ideal Care in Fairlawn explains how to empower patients and use a common sense, thorough approach to manage illness with your primary care provider before it’s necessary to see a specialist. Mental and physical health are both so important for adequate care–maybe a ketamine infusion or TMS are unnecessary if we can intervene early.
